It’s finally here! Wow how I’ve waited, noted the date 10 November 2016 in my agenda because that was the day of the opening of NYX Cosmetics Amsterdam. NYX is a make-up brand, cruelty free for all skin colors with pretty affordable prices. I was there and if you would like to know how I experienced it keep on reading.

 

The NYX store is located at the Kalverstraat 12 in Amsterdam and is the first NYX store in Holland. I saw a queue that didn’t make me happy plus it was cold and rainy so I went to the Forever 21 store right across the NYX store and when I got out the queue was pretty duable and within no time I was inside.

 

 

 

And it is was a true PARADISE! As you know I’m not such a make-up person I just wanted to see the LIPPIES but NYX has soooo many lippies and I just didn’t know where to start.

They had a photoboot. You could take a picture and hashtag “nyxcosmeticsamsterdam” on your open Twitter or Instagram platform and you could get a hard copy of it in the store. On the screen you could see the Instagrammers that were hashtagging.

 

 

The store is truly fun for MUA’s, make-up addicts, beauty bloggers and just people that like to have make-up on a budget. In the NYX store you can choose out a big collection of lippies, foundation pallets, removers, mascara’s, nail polishes, well you name it. When you are looking for a make-up item, the NYX store probably has it!

 

 

 

But when I looked in my shopping basket I saw that the amount of make-up was growing and growing and that was not the intention. It never is I know! 😉

And then we came with an idea after testing many lippies. Or actually my girl came with the idea of buying a box of 24 lippies that had most of the colors we wanted and I said YES! There was also a bigger box but that was way too much.

 

 

The location of the NYX store is awesome, downtown in the shoppingstreet so the downpart is that it will be crowded mainly. If you would like to avoid it, I would do NYX shopping in the morning I think ;-).

 

 

And maybe another downpart, the collection of make-up is huge so watch out because like me you may long to buy more than normal or planned.
