Stuffed bell pepper is something we ate often with meatloaf. Stuffed bell pepper is common in the Surinamese kitchen and very easy to make.

Ratatouille comes from Nice, France. ‘Rata’ means food and ‘touille’ means stir. So basically it’s stir food, right ;-)? Ratatouille is a typical French veggie dish and I happen to experience a Persian version from Nomad Amsterdam. What did I think of it? Read about it.Lees verder “Vegan Persian ratatouille tasting”
Latin food is something I really love. Why? The beans people! I’m a huge bean lover and in the Surinamese kitchen, we also have a dish where beans are highly represented and that’s: Brown beans with rice. I guess it’s a South-American thing ;-)! I like to make chili sin carne (chili without meat)) and here is the recipe.Lees verder “Chili sin carne”

On Instagram, I’ve mentioned the loss of my baby boy Noël. I’ve lost Noël in September 2019. This is the first time I’m mentioning it on my blog. I’ve been more spiritual since then what helps me ease the almost unbearable pain mentally and physically. Rituals/spirituality are the subjects that have a number 3 position when I asked the question on Instagram stories: what subject would you like me to post more about? That’s why I start a blog post about the subjects ‘Rituals/spirituality’ with Palo Santo also known as ‘Holy Wood’.
In my previous blog post ‘ 6 Things to think about when you’re into fashion,’ I mentioned that I asked my followers on Instagram stories, which subjects they would like me to post about. Food shares a number 4 position with fashion and skincare so I decided to come with a ‘food’ video on IGTV (Instagram TV) of a soup that I made while I wasn’t feeling that good.
When I asked you all on Instagram stories which subjects you would like me to post about, fashion turned out to be the number 4 together with two other subjects, I will let you know later. For that reason, I will try to do more items about fashion since I love fashion as well! These days I look more in vegan and sustainable fashion. In this blog, I give you 6 things to think about when you’re into fashion. Lees verder “6 Things to think about when you’re into fashion”
It’s been a while that there has been a blog post. A lot has happened in my life, which made me choose to work on one social media platform and that is Instagram. I will get into the matter on this blog another time. For now, I have a recipe and if you like sweet potato, corn, and beans like I do then continue reading.
