Making vegan cheese just started for me and I’m loving it!
I’m a cheese lover and I miss cheese a lot especially the sharper ones. The vegan versions of sharp cheeses are so difficult to get in a grocery store or natural shop so I’ll be definitely doing more recipes for vegan cheeses and this is #1. It was a success! What is an absolute blast for a person that lives a plant-based lifestyle and loves food? Eating somewhere and you don’t have to ask what ingredients are inside because everything is vegan! Saturday 27 August was all about Mr. & Mrs. Watson a plant-based food bar at the east side of Amsterdam, especially for yes…. Cheese lovers. Read in this blog post how I experienced it.
While I’m writing this recipe I get roti cravings! Roti is one of my favorite dishes of the Surinamese kitchen. Normally when we use potatoes to make the roti we use the general potato. On YouTube, I saw somebody making roti with sweet potato and I just had to try it. I did do it a little bit different though. The first time I made it I used spelt flour and the second time I used buckwheat flour which is great for people who don’t eat gluten. Both ways are super delicious. This recipe is the roti made with spelt flour.
The last vegan dish of January. I love soup and this is mung bean soup. Some people ask me what mung beans are. The mung bean is the green top of the bean sprout.
You can buy mung beans in many stores these days. I bought them at the Albert Heijn. If you love bean soup or beans in general you should definitely try mung beans as well and it’s that time of the year for a good tasty bean soup! Lees verder “Healthy Vegan Dish #5”→
